Season Overview

Cardiff City competed in the Premier League during the 2013-14 season, their first in the top flight since 1961-62. They finished 20th in the league and were subsequently relegated to the Championship. Malky Mackay managed the team until December 2013, with Ole Gunnar Solskjær taking over in January 2014 after a brief caretaker spell by David Kerslake.

Key Players

Fraizer Campbell was the top scorer for the club across all competitions with nine goals, while Jordon Mutch led the team in Premier League goals with seven. Goalkeeper David Marshall, defender Steven Caulker, and midfielder Gary Medel were also key players for the squad. Veteran forward Craig Bellamy provided experience throughout the campaign.
