Season Overview
The 2002-2003 period saw Argentina under the management of Marcelo Bielsa. Argentina had qualified impressively for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, but despite high expectations, they exited the tournament in the group stage, finishing third in Group F. Bielsa continued to lead the national team through 2003, participating in friendly matches as they looked ahead to future competitions.
