Returns Policy

Vintage condition

The Kit Dealer sells both vintage and new football apparel. Vintage items are second-hand and may show signs of age and prior wear. Minor fading, light cracking, small pulls and general wash wear are normal characteristics of vintage garments and are not faults. Any significant faults are shown clearly in the product photos. Please review the photos and contact us before buying if you have a question about an item's condition.

Change of mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing or preference. We do offer store credit or an exchange within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is returned unworn and in its original condition with proof of purchase.

How to start a return

1. Email support@thekitdealer.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for the return.
2. We will reply to confirm and give you the return address. Please do not post anything back before you have heard from us.
3. Send the item back. For change-of-mind returns the customer pays return postage, and we recommend a tracked service — we cannot process a return that does not reach us. If the item is faulty or not as described, we pay the return postage.
4. Once your return arrives we inspect it and issue your store credit or exchange within 5 business days.

Faulty items

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If an item has a genuine fault you are entitled to a remedy. For major faults you may choose a refund or a replacement where one is available. For minor faults we may offer a repair, a replacement or store credit. General wear consistent with the age of a vintage item is not a fault.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
