Season Overview
Under the management of Arsène Wenger, Arsenal finished the 2004-05 Premier League season in second place, 12 points behind champions Chelsea. The Gunners found glory in the FA Cup, however, defeating Manchester United in the final on penalties to lift the trophy. Their Champions League campaign ended in the round of 16 against Bayern Munich.
