Season Overview
The 2009-10 season saw Atlas FC compete in Liga MX, with Ricardo La Volpe managing the team for the Apertura 2009 tournament and Carlos Ischia taking over for the Clausura 2010. During the Apertura 2009, Atlas finished 15th in the overall league standings. They showed improvement in the Clausura 2010, finishing 3rd in the league. Atlas also participated in the North American SuperLiga, where they reached the Group Stage.
