Season Overview

The 2003-04 season marked a pivotal turning point for FC Barcelona, being the first under manager Frank Rijkaard. In cup competitions, they were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey by Real Zaragoza and exited the UEFA Cup in the Round of 16 after a 1-0 aggregate loss to Celtic.
