Season Overview

The 1993-94 season marked a new beginning for Bologna FC, as the club was re-formed as a phoenix entity and entered Serie C1. Competing in Serie C1 Girone A, Bologna finished the season in 4th position. Despite their efforts, the team's ambitions for promotion were ultimately thwarted in the play-offs against SPAL. In the Coppa Italia, Bologna's campaign was brief, as they were eliminated in the first round following a 1-2 loss to Padova.
