Season Overview

In manager Tito Vilanova's only season in charge, FC Barcelona stormed to the La Liga title, finishing 15 points clear of rivals Real Madrid and equalling the league record with 100 points. The team also set a club record by scoring 115 goals in the league campaign. Their cup runs were less successful, ending in the semi-finals of both the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League.

Key Players

This season was defined by the incredible goal-scoring of Lionel Messi, who won his fourth consecutive Ballon d'Or. The legendary midfield trio of Andrés Iniesta, Xavi, and Cesc Fàbregas provided the creative spark, while Carles Puyol and Gerard Piqué anchored the defence. Forwards David Villa and Pedro were also key contributors to the team's record-breaking attack.
