Paul Bracewell began the season as manager but was replaced by caretaker managers Karl-Heinz Riedle and Roy Evans in March 2000, who guided the club to a 9th-place finish. The team also had strong cup runs, reaching the Fifth Round of the FA Cup and the Quarter-Finals of the Football League Cup (known as the Worthington Cup).
Key Players
Notable players for Fulham during this vintage football shirt season included Lee Clark, Geoff Horsfield, Steve Finnan, and Barry Hayles. Chris Coleman was also a key figure in the squad. Karl-Heinz Riedle contributed as a player before taking on a caretaker management role.
