Season Overview
The 2020-2021 season saw the Germany national football team, managed by Joachim Löw, compete in the UEFA Nations League A and the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, which was postponed and played in the summer of 2021. Germany finished second in their UEFA Nations League A group. In Euro 2020, Germany was drawn into a challenging Group F alongside France, Portugal, and Hungary. They advanced from the group stage but were eliminated in the Round of 16. During this period, Germany also began their qualification campaign for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
