Season Overview
Under manager Marcello Lippi, Juventus finished 3rd in Serie A during the 2003-04 season. The team were runners-up in the Coppa Italia, losing to Lazio in the final, and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16. Despite these results, they began the season by winning the Supercoppa Italiana against AC Milan.
Key Players
The squad was filled with legendary talent, including goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and defenders Lilian Thuram and Gianluca Zambrotta. The attack was led by Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet, who was the team's top scorer, supported by Czech midfielder and Ballon d'Or winner Pavel Nedvěd.
