Season Overview
The 2018-19 season saw the Mexico national football team compete in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Under manager Juan Carlos Osorio, Mexico progressed from Group F, which included Germany, Sweden, and South Korea. Their World Cup journey concluded with an exit in the Round of 16. Following the tournament, Juan Carlos Osorio departed, and Gerardo Martino was appointed as the new head coach in January 2019.
