Season Overview
The 2003-2004 season saw the Republic of Ireland national team under the management of Brian Kerr, who was appointed in January 2003. The team participated in the UEFA Euro 2004 qualifying campaign, competing in Group 10 alongside Switzerland, Russia, Albania, and Georgia. Ireland finished third in their group and did not qualify for the tournament. During this period, the squad also played various international friendly matches.
Key Players
Key players for the Republic of Ireland during this vintage football shirt era included goalkeeper Shay Given, dynamic winger Damien Duff, and prolific forward Robbie Keane.
