Season Overview
During the 2000-02 period, Scotland, under manager Craig Brown, competed in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The team was in a challenging group with Croatia and Belgium. Despite a hard-fought campaign, Scotland ultimately finished third in their group, failing to qualify for the tournament in South Korea and Japan. Brown resigned following the final qualifying match.
