Season Overview
The 1994-95 season saw Napoli finish 7th in Serie A and reach the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia. Under the management of Vujadin Boškov, who replaced Vincenzo Guerini early in the season, they also reached the Last 16 of the UEFA Cup. The following 1995-96 season was more of a struggle, with the team finishing 12th in the league and exiting the Coppa Italia in the second round.
Key Players
Throughout these two seasons, the squad featured a strong defensive core, including the legendary Fabio Cannavaro (in 1994-95 before his move to Parma) and Brazilian André Cruz. Other notable players included goalkeeper Giuseppe Taglialatela, midfielders Fabio Pecchia and Renato Buso, and forward Massimo Agostini. The 1995-96 season saw the arrival of Argentine defender Roberto Ayala.
