Season Overview
The 2024-25 season marked Bologna's tenth consecutive year in Serie A and a return to the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the 1964-65 season. The club finished 9th in the league. The highlight of the campaign was a triumphant run in the Coppa Italia, which saw Bologna defeat AC Milan 1-0 in the final to win their first major trophy since 1974. This victory also secured qualification for the 2025-26 Europa League.
Key Players
Under the management of Vincenzo Italiano, the squad featured a number of key performers. Riccardo Orsolini finished as the team's top scorer with 17 goals in all competitions. Other notable players in the side included Lewis Ferguson, Remo Freuler, Jhon Lucumí, and Łukasz Skorupski.
