Season Overview
Celtic finished the 2009-10 Scottish Premier League season in second place. The club began the season under manager Tony Mowbray, who was later replaced by interim manager Neil Lennon in March 2010. In cup competitions, Celtic reached the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup and the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup. They also competed in European football, reaching the Champions League play-off round before entering the Europa League group stage.
Key Players
The squad featured several notable players, including striker Robbie Keane, who was the team's top goalscorer with 16 goals across all competitions. Georgios Samaras also contributed significantly, scoring 10 goals, while Aiden McGeady provided 14 assists. The team's kits were supplied by Nike, and Carling served as the main shirt sponsor for the season.
