Season Overview
Under manager Martin O'Neill, the 2002-03 season was a dramatic one for Celtic, defined by a memorable run to the UEFA Cup Final in Seville, where they narrowly lost to Porto. Domestically, they engaged in an incredibly tight title race with Rangers, finishing second in the Scottish Premier League on the final day by just a single goal on goal difference. The team also reached the final of the Scottish League Cup.

The squad was spearheaded by the prolific Henrik Larsson, who scored 44 goals in all competitions. He was supported in attack by Chris Sutton and John Hartson. The midfield was anchored by key players such as Paul Lambert, Stiliyan Petrov, and Neil Lennon.
