Season Overview
Germany competed in the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, held in 2021, under manager Joachim Löw, where they reached the Round of 16 before being eliminated by England. In the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League, Germany finished second in their League A Group 4. Hansi Flick took over as manager in August 2021, leading the team to successfully qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Adidas kit was worn by key players such as Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich. Young talent Jamal Musiala also featured for the national team during this period, making his senior international debut in 2021 and wearing the number 14 shirt, notably at the 2022 World Cup.
