Season Overview
Under manager Graeme Souness, this era marked a major resurgence for Rangers. After finishing third in the 1987-88 season, they went on to win back-to-back Scottish Premier Division titles in 1988-89 and 1989-90, beginning their famous 'nine in a row' championship run. The period also saw consistent cup success, with the team winning the Scottish League Cup in both the 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons.
Key Players
This successful period was built on a squad of legendary players. Key figures included English internationals Terry Butcher and Chris Woods, complemented by the prolific goalscoring of Ally McCoist and talents like Ian Durrant, Richard Gough, and Mark Walters.
This is a pre-owned authentic vintage item. All kits sold at The Kit Dealer are carefully verified by our in-house authentication team, washed, and treated - unless clearly listed as brand new with tags.
