Season Overview

Napoli competed in Serie A during the 2019-20 season, finishing in 7th place. The club began the season under manager Carlo Ancelotti, who was replaced by Gennaro Gattuso on December 11, 2019. Napoli won the Coppa Italia, defeating Juventus in the final, and reached the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.

Key Players

Dries Mertens was the team's top goalscorer across all competitions with 16 goals. Arkadiusz Milik led the Serie A scoring with 11 goals. Other notable players included Lorenzo Insigne, José Callejón, and Fabián Ruiz. Goalkeepers Alex Meret and David Ospina were also part of the squad.
