Season Overview
Under manager Troels Bech, Odense BK finished 6th in the 2001-02 Danish Superliga, but the season highlight was winning the Danish Cup (then the DONG Cup) with a 2-1 victory over F.C. Copenhagen. The following 2002-03 season, with Uffe Pedersen now in charge, saw the club improve to a 4th place league finish.
Key Players
Top scorer Kaspar Dalgas was instrumental in the 2001-02 season, alongside key contributors like Søren Berg and the Zambian forward Mwape Miti. The squad also featured long-serving goalkeeper Lars Høgh and defender Michael Hemmingsen, with players like Steffen Højer joining for the 2002-03 campaign.
