Season Overview
Under new manager Carlo Ancelotti, the 2013-14 season was a historic one for Real Madrid, culminating in their long-awaited tenth Champions League title, "La Décima". While they finished a close third in La Liga, level on points with Barcelona, they memorably won the Copa del Rey by defeating their rivals in the final. The season is best remembered for the dramatic Champions League final victory over city rivals Atlético Madrid.
Key Players
This season saw the formation of the formidable "BBC" attacking trio of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 51 goals in all competitions. The squad also featured iconic players such as Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Luka Modrić, and Ángel Di María.
