Season Overview

The 2006-2007 season saw Tottenham Hotspur, under manager Martin Jol, finish fifth in the Premier League, securing qualification for the UEFA Cup for the following season. The club also had strong cup runs, reaching the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup, where they were eliminated by eventual winners Sevilla. Additionally, Spurs made it to the semi-finals of the League Cup.

Notable players in the squad that season included prolific striker Dimitar Berbatov, who was a significant summer signing, alongside the dynamic Robbie Keane. Midfielders Jermaine Jenas and Aaron Lennon were key figures, while captain Ledley King anchored the defence.
