Description

Season Overview

Ajax competed in the Eredivisie, KNVB Cup, and European competitions during the 2007-08 season. They finished second in the Eredivisie, three points behind champions PSV Eindhoven. The club was managed by Henk ten Cate until October 2007, when Adrie Koster took over as interim manager. Ajax exited the KNVB Cup in the Round of 16 and the UEFA Cup in the First Round.

Key Players

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar was the team's top scorer, netting 33 goals in the Eredivisie. Luis Suárez also made a significant impact, contributing 17 goals and 14 assists. Other prominent players in the squad included Maarten Stekelenburg, John Heitinga, and Edgar Davids.
