Season Overview

Under new player-manager Glenn Hoddle, the 1993-94 season was one of transition for Chelsea. The club finished 14th in the Premier League but enjoyed a memorable run to the FA Cup Final, their first since 1970, ultimately losing to Manchester United. This cup performance secured a place in the following season's European Cup Winners' Cup.

Key Players

The squad featured a mix of established and emerging talent, led by captain Dennis Wise. Key figures included Steve Clarke, Frank Sinclair, and new signings Gavin Peacock and striker Mark Stein, who became the top league goalscorer.
