Season Overview

Under manager Raymond Domenech, France navigated the qualification stages for Euro 2008. During the tournament, held in Austria and Switzerland, Les Bleus were drawn in a difficult group and were ultimately eliminated in the group stage. This campaign was part of a transitional period for the national team following their appearance in the 2006 World Cup final.

Key Players

The 2007-08 squad was a blend of established veterans and emerging talent. Key figures included Thierry Henry, Franck Ribéry, Patrick Vieira, and William Gallas. The team also featured future stars such as Karim Benzema and Samir Nasri, who were gaining valuable international experience.
