Season Overview

The 1992-93 season marked Liverpool's inaugural campaign in the newly formed Premier League, with Graeme Souness as manager. The Reds finished in 6th place in the league standings. In cup competitions, Liverpool reached the Third Round of the FA Cup, where they were defeated by Bolton Wanderers. They also reached the Fourth Round of the League Cup, losing to Crystal Palace, and the Second Round of the European Cup Winners' Cup, where they were eliminated by Spartak Moscow.
