Season Overview
MSV Duisburg's 2005-06 season in the 2. Bundesliga was one of consolidation as the club competed in Germany's second tier. The Zebras, as they are nicknamed due to their distinctive blue and white stripes, had a solid campaign at the Wedaustadion. The club continued to build towards their goal of returning to the Bundesliga, which they would achieve with promotion at the end of the 2006-07 season.
