Season Overview

The 2014-15 season saw Reading Football Club compete in the Championship, where they finished 19th. Nigel Adkins began the season as manager, but Steve Clarke took over in December 2014. The Royals enjoyed a memorable run in the FA Cup, reaching the semi-finals before being eliminated.

Danny Williams, wearing the number 23, was a key midfielder for Reading during this campaign, having a strong second season with the club. Other notable players in the squad included Adam Federici, Chris Gunter, Hal Robson-Kanu, and Jordan Obita. Simon Cox and Glenn Murray were among the team's top goalscorers across all competitions.
