Season Overview
In the 1999-2000 season, Real Valladolid finished 8th in La Liga under manager Gregorio Manzano. The team was eliminated in the First Round of the Copa del Rey by Real Unión. For the 2000-2001 season, Real Valladolid finished 16th in La Liga. Francisco Ferraro managed the team before Pepe Moré took over in April 2001. They exited the Copa del Rey in the Third Round after a 2-1 loss to CF Extremadura.
