Season Overview

The 2014 season saw São Paulo FC, under manager Muricy Ramalho, finish second in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, securing qualification for the Copa Libertadores. The club also reached the semifinals of the Copa Sudamericana, demonstrating strong continental performance. Domestically, São Paulo competed in the Campeonato Paulista and the Copa do Brasil.

Key Players

The squad featured the return of Kaká, who joined on loan for the latter half of the season. Legendary goalkeeper Rogério Ceni continued to be a pivotal figure for the club. Other notable players included prolific forwards Alexandre Pato and Luís Fabiano, along with creative midfielder Ganso.
