Season Overview

This Sweden home shirt covers one of the greatest periods in Swedish football history. At the 1994 World Cup in the United States, Sweden finished in an outstanding third place under manager Tommy Svensson, beating Bulgaria 4-0 in the third-place match. It was a tournament run that captivated the nation. Sweden then competed at Euro 96 in England, where they exited in the group stage despite a spirited campaign.

Key Players

The 1994 squad is widely regarded as Sweden's greatest ever. Tomas Brolin was the star, dazzling with his skill and goals throughout the World Cup. Kennet Andersson was prolific in attack, while Martin Dahlin provided pace and movement. Thomas Ravelli was outstanding in goal, and a young Henrik Larsson was beginning to emerge as a future great.
