Season Overview

Valencia's 1994-95 La Liga season was a transitional period for Los Che. The club finished in the mid-table region, a result that reflected the ongoing rebuilding at the Mestalla. It was a difficult time for the club, sandwiched between eras, but the foundations were being laid for the late-1990s revival that would see Valencia reach back-to-back Champions League finals under Hector Cuper.

Key Players

The squad featured Predrag Mijatovic, who was emerging as one of La Liga's most dangerous strikers before his eventual move to Real Madrid. A young Gaizka Mendieta was beginning to make his mark on the first team. This #4 Luanvi-manufactured home shirt is a rare piece from Valencia's mid-90s period, predating the club's return to the European elite later in the decade.
