Description

Season Overview

The 2016-17 season marked West Ham United's fifth consecutive campaign in the Premier League and their first at the London Stadium. Under manager Slaven Bilić, the Hammers finished 11th in the Premier League. In cup competitions, West Ham reached the third round of the FA Cup and the fifth round of the League Cup. They also participated in the UEFA Europa League, exiting in the play-off round.

Key Players

Notable players in the West Ham squad during the 2016-17 season included Michail Antonio, Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini, and Mark Noble. Antonio was a key attacking threat, while Payet provided creativity in midfield. Noble captained the side, and Lanzini contributed significantly to the team's play.
