Season Overview
Bolton Wanderers competed in the Football League First Division during the 1993-94 season, finishing 14th in the league table. Under manager Bruce Rioch, the club embarked on an FA Cup run, reaching the Quarter-Finals after defeating top-flight teams like Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Everton. In the Coca-Cola Cup, Bolton Wanderers reached the Second Round, and they also participated in the Anglo-Italian Cup, exiting at the Group Stage.
Key Players
The squad featured players such as striker John McGinlay, who was the team's top goalscorer with 25 league goals. Midfielder Jason McAteer and defender Alan Stubbs were also key figures for the Wanderers that season. This period marked the beginning of Reebok's long-standing relationship with the club, as they served as both kit manufacturer and shirt sponsor.
