Season Overview
Under the management of Sean Dyche, Burnley enjoyed a remarkable 2017-18 Premier League campaign, finishing in 7th place. This was their highest league finish since the 1973-74 season and secured them a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds for the first time in 51 years. The club exited both the FA Cup and the EFL Cup in the third round.
Key Players
The season's success was built on a solid defensive unit and key contributions from several players. Goalkeeper Nick Pope was named the club's Player of the Year, while James Tarkowski stepped up in central defence. Chris Wood was the top scorer with 10 league goals, supported by Ashley Barnes, and Jack Cork was a vital presence in midfield.
