Season Overview
Under manager José Mourinho, Chelsea finished the 2006-07 Premier League season in 2nd place. The club won both the FA Cup, defeating Manchester United in the final, and the League Cup (Carling Cup) against Arsenal. Chelsea also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, where they were eliminated by Liverpool. They were also runners-up in the FA Community Shield.
Key Players
The squad featured prominent players such as striker Didier Drogba, who was the top goalscorer for the club that season. Midfielder Frank Lampard was also a key figure, contributing with goals and assists. Other notable players included Michael Ballack and captain John Terry. The team's kit was supplied by Adidas.
