AC Milan, under manager Massimiliano Allegri, won their 18th Serie A title in the 2010-11 season, their first since 2003-04. They secured the Scudetto with a goalless draw against Roma on May 7, 2011. In other competitions, Milan reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and were eliminated in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
