Season Overview
The 2003-04 season was a major success for AC Milan, as they secured their 17th Scudetto. The team finished first in Serie A with 82 points, 11 clear of their closest rivals, Roma. The title was famously clinched with a 1-0 victory over Roma at the San Siro. In Europe, the club won the UEFA Super Cup by defeating Porto but was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League by Deportivo La Coruña. The team also reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia and were runners-up in the Supercoppa Italiana and the Intercontinental Cup.
