Under manager Carlo Ancelotti, the 2007-08 season saw AC Milan finish 5th in Serie A. As the reigning European champions, they had a successful year in cup competitions, winning both the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Their journey in the Champions League and Coppa Italia ended in the round of 16.
