Season Overview
Under manager Gordon Strachan, Celtic achieved significant success, winning the Scottish Premier League title in both the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. In 2005-06, they also lifted the Scottish League Cup. The following season, 2006-07, saw them win the Scottish Cup and reach the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 for the first time in the competition's modern format, eventually falling to AC Milan.

The squad featured influential players such as strikers John Hartson and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, alongside the creative midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura. Goalkeeper Artur Boruc was a standout performer. Nike manufactured the team's kits, which prominently displayed Carling as the shirt sponsor.
