Season Overview
Under manager Frank Rijkaard, the 2007-08 season was a transitional one for FC Barcelona. The club finished third in La Liga and made it to the semi-finals of both the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League. This trophyless campaign marked the end of an era and preceded the appointment of Pep Guardiola.

This season saw the arrival of Thierry Henry from Arsenal, joining a squad that included stars like Samuel Eto'o, Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Xavi, and Andrés Iniesta. It was also a breakthrough year for the young talent Bojan Krkić, who became the club's youngest-ever La Liga goalscorer.
