Season Overview

The 2001 season saw FC Tokyo compete in the J.League Division 1, where they finished in 8th place. Kiyoshi Okuma managed the team during this period. In cup competitions, FC Tokyo reached the 3rd Round of the Emperor's Cup and the 2nd Round of the J.League Cup. This season also marked the opening of their new home ground, Tokyo Stadium, now known as Ajinomoto Stadium. This vintage football shirt represents a significant year for the club as they solidified their presence in Japan's top flight.
