Season Overview
The 2020 season marked Inter Miami CF's inaugural campaign in Major League Soccer (MLS), a historic moment for the club and South Florida soccer. Under head coach Diego Alonso, the team competed in the Eastern Conference, finishing 10th in their first year. Inter Miami also participated in the MLS is Back Tournament and reached the MLS Cup Play-in round.
Key Players
The squad featured notable players such as Mexican international Rodolfo Pizarro, who wore the number 10 jersey. Scottish winger Lewis Morgan was a key attacking threat, while World Cup winner Blaise Matuidi and Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín joined the club during the season, adding significant experience to the roster. Matías Pellegrini also contributed to the team's debut season.
