Season Overview
Juventus competed in Serie A during the 2005-2006 season, initially finishing first before being stripped of the title and relegated to 20th due to the Calciopoli scandal. Under manager Fabio Capello, the club reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League and the Coppa Italia. They were also runners-up in the Supercoppa Italiana.
Key Players
The squad featured world-class talent, including prolific striker David Trezeguet, who was the top goalscorer, and legendary forward Alessandro Del Piero. Other prominent players included Zlatan Ibrahimović and Pavel Nedvěd. The home kit for this season was manufactured by Nike and sponsored by Tamoil.
