Season Overview
The 2006-07 season saw Liverpool secure a third-place finish in the Premier League. The club also won the FA Community Shield, defeating Chelsea 2-1. Their most notable achievement was reaching the UEFA Champions League final, where they were ultimately defeated 2-1 by AC Milan in Athens. In the 2007-08 season, the team finished fourth in the league and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
