Season Overview
Under the management of Alex Ferguson, Manchester United ended a 26-year wait to become the inaugural Premier League champions in the 1992-93 season, finishing 10 points clear of Aston Villa. They followed this historic win by securing a league and FA Cup double in the 1993-94 season, becoming only the fourth club in the 20th century to achieve this feat. A 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa in the League Cup final narrowly prevented them from winning a domestic treble.

The period saw the pivotal arrival of Eric Cantona, whose signing was key to the club's dominance. The squad also featured legendary players such as Peter Schmeichel, Steve Bruce, Denis Irwin, Paul Ince, Mark Hughes, and a young Ryan Giggs.
