Season Overview
Panathinaikos finished the 2011-12 Super League Greece season in 2nd place. Under manager Jesualdo Ferreira, the club competed in multiple competitions. They were eliminated in the Third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League by Odense BK and subsequently in the Play-off round of the UEFA Europa League by Maccabi Tel Aviv. In the Greek Cup, Panathinaikos reached the Round of 16 before being knocked out by Panionios after a penalty shootout.
Key Players
The squad featured key players such as Sebastian Leto, who was the team's top goalscorer with 15 league goals, and striker Toché. Other notable contributors included Cleyton and defender Jean-Alain Boumsong. The kit was manufactured by Adidas and prominently featured OPAP as the main shirt sponsor.
