Season Overview
The 2002-03 season was a successful one for Real Madrid, as the club secured its 29th La Liga title. The campaign also brought global and European success, with the team winning the UEFA Super Cup by defeating Feyenoord 3-1. Later in the season, the club also lifted the Intercontinental Cup, beating Paraguayan side Olimpia 2-0 in Yokohama. In the UEFA Champions League, the club's title defence ended at the semi-final stage against Juventus.
